Super quick smoothie
This great smoothie option will give you the energy you need to get through a busy morning or to survive morning tea without that second or third coffee or soft drink.
What you need (tools and utensils):
A blender or food processor
A glass or bottle to serve
Ingredients:
1 cup 100% coconut water or low fat skim milk of choice
1 cup no fat vanilla yoghurt
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup frozen mixed berries or 1 banana
Honey to taste or a sprinkle of cinnamon to go with your banana option
Method:
Place yoghurt, coconut water or milk of choice, rolled oats, mixed berries or banana into a large blender or food processor. Blend until a smooth mixture forms. Pour into two tall glasses or a bottle to take on the go and serve immediately.
Tip: Mix and match blueberries, raspberries, strawberries or blackberries.
Add some ice cubes on a hot day.
